On Saturday night, we left Parker at home with a babysitter and went to the Diamondbacks - Red Sox game with our friends Ty and Erika Hanks. It is amazing how full the stadium gets when the Red Sox come to town! You would have thought that there were two home teams with all of the fans. We had a great time!
An interesting and random note about the stadium was that they had the roof open (the first time we've seen it open). However, even with the roof open, they still air conditioned the whole stadium. I'm sure my dad would cringe at the thought! It was strange because we felt like we were feeling a "cool breeze" from outside, but no. When we walked outside, sure enough, it was stilll really hot. Welcome to the summer nights where it is still 100 degrees at midnight.
