Success!

I am reminded of the saying "Your mother is always right. If your mother is wrong, please refer to rule number 1." After my couple of attempts at ice cream (that were good), I decided to call my mom for her recipe. I hadn't called her to begin with because she has the 6 quart recipes and my 1.5 quart is a little smaller. I probably called her 5 times consulting her on what to do. The last time I called I asked if she was sick of me calling...She teasingly responded that she wasn't unless it was about the ice cream. Well, I followed her recipe for my favorite ice cream - RASPBERRY. All I really had to do was shrink the recipe. I wasn't sure if it would work as well with a different kind of ice cream freezer, but it was a success. I even won first prize at our ward party. I should always stick to those beloved recipes that I love and grew up with.
