Tag...again

5 things I was doing 10 years ago:

1. I was 15 - almost 16. I was taking driver's ed and excited to finally be able to drive and date.

2. I had just gotten home from London where I had spent almost a month with my sister Wendy. She was pregnant with her second child and was on "bedrest," so I missed 3 weeks of school to go help her out. It was a great vacation and I worked it out to e-mail my teachers and do my work in London.

3. I was catching up on school work and trying to work out a grade for English because my English teacher had just passed away. This was really hard for me because she was the one who worked with me to make it possible to go to London.

4. I was hanging out with my best friends Mikki and Vicki - cruisin' in Mikki's car, going to parks, spending time outside, playing basketball, dressing up, hangin' out at Java Juice, going to dances and stomps, and just being a typical teenager.

5. I was auditioning for the school play, for Highlights (Ladies' Ensemble), and preparing for my Jr. year.

5 things that I was doing 5 years ago:

1. I had just gotten back from a 4 month semester abroad in New Zealand. I had traveled, taught school, made wonderful friends, & even gone to the hospital.

2. I was planning my wedding because Rich proposed to me (5 years ago yesterday!). I was spending all of my free time with Rich :)

3. I was taking care of Rich because he had just had nose surgery (no - he didn't get a nose job even though that is what I like to tease him about!)...he proposed the day before surgery.

4. I was getting ready for my first year of teaching school - 3rd grade at Rocky Mountain Elementary. Luckily, I had a lot of help from my sisters and my mom!

5. I was enjoying the spring and summer hanging out with my fam and working for my dad.

5 things that I was doing 1 year ago:

1. I discovered an awesome "ding" deal on Southwest and flew to Utah for $25 each way

2. I also got my parents to come down and visit us since it was such an incredible deal.

3. I was spending most days in the pool because it was so hot (much cooler this year). Plus, Parker LOVED being in the pool as well!

4. I was spending time with my friend Sarah who came down for the Prom for my friend Stephenie Meyer's book Twilight and New Moon.

5. I was hanging out with my little baby who was almost 1.

5 things on my to do list: (not much since it is already 8:30)

1. Do my dishes
2. Digital scrapbook and blog
3. Watch the Jazz game (since I know that is what Rich wants to do when he gets home!)
4. Call my friend to make plans for this week
5. Read the visiting teaching message (I know it is the last day!)

5 snacks I enjoy:

1. Peanut butter twix
2. White Reeses
3. Apple Blossoms
4. Nachos
5. Fresh Fruit!

5 Things I would do if I were a billionaire:

(A billion is a LOT of money - so there is ton you could do...my first would be:

1. Pay off students loans
2. Buy a house and furnish it
3. Buy new cars
4. Travel
5. Save, invest, etc.
***this list could go on and on!

3 of my bad habits:
1. Wasting time
2. Impatience
3. Worrying too much

5 places I have lived: (or 6)

1. Utah (Holladay, Provo, & Orem)
2. London
3. New York
4. Indiana
5. New Zealand
6. Arizona

5 jobs that I have had: (in addition to the countless hours of babysitting!)

1. Secretary for my dad's office and my uncle's office
2. Cashier at Apollo Burger
3. Kids Camp Counselor
4. Behavioral Therapist
5. 3rd Grade Teacher

5 Things most people probably don't know about me:

***the trick for me is coming up with something new because I have already confessed my fear of the telephone, that I walk and talk in my sleep, that I have a small bladder, my clumsiness, that I have weird organizational things, etc....so here are some new things

1. I get very claustrophobic if I feel trapped. I'm not talking about small places, I'm talking about sweatshirts, sweaters, & wedding rings. If for some reason it gets stuck when I am taking one off, I start to freak out. I don't mind wearing it, just that stuck feeling. I am the same way with my wedding ring (because I had to have a ring cut off my finger in New Zealand).

2. I still have all of the notes that my friends wrote me in jr. high (mostly 9th grade!) I decided it would be a brilliant idea one boring summer afternoon (while in high school) to put each one in plastic pages and have never gotten rid of them.

3. I have weird gag reflexes and crying reflexes (according to Rich). My eyes tear up just thinking about any other time that I have cried (even if it was little.) I also throw up very easily with weird smells or just the mere mention of things that smell or taste bad. My sister Andrea was a little worried how I would do with changing diapers - but so far I've been okay most of the time!

4. I don't really like going places by myself - I like company (even if it just Parker's company.) Rich sometimes tells me to go and do something by myself - but I don't know what to do. I'd much prefer to go somewhere with him, a friend, or my little man.

5. I have teeth issues...I hate hearing people talk about teeth, talk about the dentist, grind their teeth, make clicking noises, etc. I don't mind the dentist - but I HATE the talk of teeth!

***So there are a few more interesting facts about me :) I tag anyone who hasn't done this before (although this is a pretty common one!)

I've thrown up more than once while changing Lincoln's diaper. But, it is only since being pregnant. I also finally got rid of old letters and notes. I don't know why I hang on to stuff like that.
