Fantasy Football Draft

Football season is back and in full swing...NFL and college football. Rich is involved in a few different fantasy football leagues - but the biggest one is probably our ward draft. 2 weeks ago, they held the "live draft" at the ward. We ordered food and let the boys and Ang go ahead and start drafting their teams...Ray wrote the picks on the board, the boys analyzed different lists on their laptops and in magazines, and the fun began.

BFF's Morty and Rich
Don't you just love the cheesy posed picture? They had erased the board when I came to take a picture, so they posed with the magazines instead. What good sports!
Cory and Ang each have their own team this year, thus the dueling picture!
While they did that, the girls (Milyn, Angie, & I) let the kids play in the nursery while we made candles to help Angie with a Young Women activity...not enough girls came to the activity, so she needed help dipping more candles. It turned out to be a fun night of visiting and fun...now let's just hope that the rest of the season can be like that.

Welcome to fooball season...hopefully it doesn't COMPLETELY consume Rich's extra time!

wow, they do love football! hey - if we can break Rich away - Er and Ty are going to have a BBQ and swimming at their house next sat night. I told Er that Rich wants to watch the BYU game and maybe he and Ty could watch it together?

Sorry I missed the party. It's the first one in a few years it makes me a little sad. I don't really care about the whole football thing, but I miss sunday dinners. Miss ya!

That is fun! Ty had to give up fantasy football b/c it consumed all of his time and he was completely obsessed! We still watch all the games but Ty is less intense about each player, and he can focus on the game! Boys are so funny!

Of course it will take all of Rich's time. They wouldn't have it any other way. If Mike passes the CPA exam I think we are getting cable and then I might as well kiss him goodbye until December or January. These crazy football fanatics!
